Hey quick update before we start.

We just launched a no-bot meeting note taker at Voibe. And our early customers have been absolutely loving it.. yesterday was one of our best days ever.. and we haven’t even made a proper public announcement yet 🤯

  • AI Dictation + Meeting Notes + Transcription API/MCP

All with zero data retention + 100% privacy friendly.

Now, lets talk about Fastlane -

Fastlane makes short videos that market your app. You enter your website, swipe right on the videos you like, and it posts them to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

Two months after launch: $69K MRR.

Quick word from Hubspot before we dive deep -

Most founders are one system away from turning LinkedIn into their best sales channel.

Engagement is easy to mistake for pipeline. On Sep 30, watch how a founder turns LinkedIn content into real outreach. Live. You'll walk away with a repeatable system: what to post, who to reach out to, and how to sequence it.

Eligible startups also get the LinkedIn-to-Leads Toolkit: ad credits, Apollo, Captions, and HubSpot's Prospecting Agent.

The Backstory - Fastlane

Gaurav Thapa dropped out of law school at 21.

He watched a Starter Story video, started building apps… and nobody saw them.

Building was easy. Getting people to look was brutal.

Then he met Jock Ferguson. Same problem, different SaaS.

Their first product, Cast AI, tried to fix all of marketing at once. SEO. Reddit. Video.

Too broad.

The Customer Calls

So in August 2025 they started doing the thing most builders skip.

~20 customer calls a week. Every week.

They put a rainbow button in the app: "Book a call with the team, get 7 days of extra access."

Users booked themselves.

The calls kept saying the same thing: video is the part that matters. So they cut everything else.

Then they watched testers use the product in silence. People got lost. So they rebuilt the main screen to work like Tinder — swipe right to post.

March 23, 2026: public launch. #3 Product of the Day.

Two months later:

$69K MRR.

1,000+ paid users.

$1M+ ARR across the business.

~2,000 customer calls.

From a law school dropout in Sydney to $1M ARR in San Francisco. Not with a growth hack — with a calendar full of customer calls.

The Talk-to-Customers Playbook:

  1. Make booking a call a one-click trade — give something (free days) for 30 minutes of their time

  2. Ask how people solve the problem today — never "would you use this?"

  3. Watch users in silence — every hint you give hides a problem you need to fix

  4. Cut the product down to the one part customers keep bringing up

  5. Save every call somewhere searchable and let it steer the roadmap
